1976: Damien Rinaldi Dovio was born in Bastia on the French Island of Corsica.
1995: Damien receives his bachelor degree for sciences. His career focus changed only to finish with a diploma of the Cooking Institute Paul Bocuse of Lyon (France's most regarded Chef).
1997: He sharpened his skills during the compulsory military service as the personal chef of the minister of education in France.
1998: He would then join the prestigious Plaza Athénée in Paris.
2000: Paris famed restaurant Ledoyen received Damien.
2001: Arrival in Los Angeles to work as the Sous-Chef of the hotel Ritz Carlton in Marina Del Rey. This stop allowed him to perfect his skills with the English language.
2002: He later joined the famed l'Orangerie, Relais Gourmand of West Los Angeles as the Sous-Chef de cuisine.
2003: He answered the call from the islands by accepting the position of Chef de Cuisine at the hotel Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort where he worked for a year.
2004: The long time dream of his ideal restaurant on Bora Bora finally comes to life.
2006: He is proud today to receive you at his own restaurant: La Villa Mahana
